UK battery centre sees £28m boost: Page 2 of 2

The UK government has announced another £28m (€32m, $36m) for its showcase Battery Industrialisation Centre (UKBIC), bringing the total investment to over £100m.

The region aims to deploy the first fully operational connected autonomous vehicles in advance of the 2022 Commonwealth Games, driving investment into electric vehicle manufacturing alongside completing UKBIC.
