Traco Power opens French subsidiary
Swiss power supply company Traco Power has opened a French subsidiary in Paris.

The company sees France as one of the three most important markets in Europe, and the Paris office will provide local support and to improve the quality of service for French customers and distributors supplying the Industrial & IT, Transportation & Railway, Medical & Healthcare, Automation & Control, Renewable Energy & Smart Grid markets.

Michel Suissa (above) will run the new branch. He was managing director in France for Swedish power company Powerbox for 15 years having previsouly set up the French operation for XP Power. Powerbox was recently acquired by Japanese power company Cosel. 

Traco has offices in Wexford, Ireland, Ismaning, Germany as well as San Jose in the US.

The company's global manufacturing facilities are certified to ISO 9001/14000 and products are backed by a full three year product warranty with five years for medical products.
