Smart EV charging specification available for download
The EEBUS specifications for e-car charging technology are now freely available to all interested parties, supporting network-compatible, distributed charging of electric cars, from private homes to office buildings.

The two organizations exchange their use cases and harmonize the interfaces between their communication protocols. The aim of the cooperation is to integrate smart EV charging points in households, commercial car parks and public spaces into the power grid using uniform technologies. This eliminates the danger of the frequently described "e-mobility blackouts". On the contrary: electric mobility is thus developing into an important grid-connected component in the future electricity market.
