Schneider Electric sets up €500m smart power venture fund : Page 2 of 2

French power giant Schneider Electric is setting up a €500m fund to boost startups developing smart power systems through investments and an incubator that is backing startups in electric vehicles and the industrial Internet of Things (IoT).

“Schneider Electric Ventures is our way of helping innovators turn their vision into reality and make a real difference to the way we live and work,” said Jean-Pascal Tricoire, Chairman and CEO of Schneider Electric. “Schneider Electric Ventures demonstrates our commitment to innovation, helping innovators and entrepreneurs who share our values develop their ideas and gain access to global markets.”

Diarte see the fund growing to over €500m over the next few years.
