Renesas, Maxpower team for motor control
MaxPower Semiconductor is working with Renesas Electronics are combining their technologies for more efficient power semiconductors in power tools, vacuum cleaners, industrial motor drives and mobility applications.

One example is driving a full-size BLDC vacuum motor that will allow for improved performance in traditional cordless upright and canister vacuums.  The Renesas RAJ306010 42V motor drive IC and MXP80N4P7BG 80V MOSFET with low on-resistance (4.7mΩ) available in the 5x6 MaxPak package support a 650W BLDC motor system in a 45 x 45mm footprint for applications with small form factors and limited space
