Low-power modules stay reliable at freezing temperatures
RECOM has launched a generation of low-power modules with rated outputs of 2 or 3 W respectively together with extended operating temperature ranges.

The power supplies of the RAC02-SE/277 and RAC03-SE/277 series can now be used in areas where temperatures drop as low as -40°C. The 2 W module is now also available with cables.

With a height of 18 mm, the RAC02-SE/277 and RAC03-SE/277 modules are compact. The devices accommodate a wide input power range of 85-305 VAC (120-430 VDC) and are available with output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12 and 24 VDC. When idle, the modules consume maximum 40 mW and are therefore particularly suitable for the supply of sensors and standby equipment. The insulation strength between the input and the output is 3 kVAC/min. The modules are available as DIP units with standard pinout or as wired units.

Featuring an integrated input filter, the modules conform to the requirements of EN55022 Class B. The devices can be operated without the need for additional external components and are short-circuit-proof with automatic restart after fault elimination. The modules are certified according to IEC/EN/UL 60950 and come with a 3-year warranty.
