High-isolation 20W DC-DC converter family has 1000 VACrms working voltage
Traco's TRI DC-DC converter family has reinforced isolation for 1000V and high common mode transient immunity

Traco Power has launched a series of high isolation, regulated DC-DC converter series in a compact DIP-24 for the 3 to 10W versions or a 2”x1” (65 x25mm) footprint for the 15 to 20W variants. 

The key characteristic of the TRI line is a sophisticated reinforced isolation system which is able to withstand high test voltages (9000 VDC for 1s and 5000 VAC for 60s) and working voltages (1000 VACrms). Complementing this isolation characteristic is a high Common Mode Transient Immunity of 15 kV/µs.

The new design allows to fully integrate an EN 55032 class A filter and greatly reduces the no-load power consumption. High efficiencies up to 90% allow safe operation from –40°C to +85°C. All models have a 2:1 input voltage range fro 4.5-9, 9-18, 18-36 and 36-75 V along with regulated, isolated output voltages.

The low no-load power consumption is 96 to 480 mW, depending on the model, with an effiiency up to 90 per cent. 

The DC-DC converter family includes protection against overload, overvoltage and short circuits and has a three year warranty. With IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 IT certification, the TRI line is aimed at designs in the industrial, transportation and instrumentation sectors.
