Stadium power supplies become part of TT Electronics
Stadium has product capabilities including connectivity solutions, power supplies, human machine interface (HMI) and electronic assemblies. This will map onto TT’s three divisions of Global Manufacturing Solutions, Power Electronics and Sensors and Specialist Components.
With headquarters in Woking, UK, TT Electronics employs approximately 4,800 staff and operates from 27 locations around the world. It has kept a number of brands from prevous acquisitions including AB Connectors, Roxspur Measurement & Control, Semelab and Welwyn Components, so some parts of Stadium, includng the power supplies, could stay as Stadium or Stontronics branded products. Stadium had acquired a number of power brands in the last two years such as PowerPax and Cable Power will naturally become part of the Power Electronics division.
Stadium’s designs and builds products for a wide range of applications including the smarter home, industrial robotics, medical equipment and aircraft cabin controls, working with significant customers in the industrial, aerospace and defence, medical and transportation sectors. This fits with TT’s strategy to build leading positions in sectors with structural growth drivers, and the proliferation of electronics is driving demand for TT Electronics’ solutions.
