The XOK53 and XOK91 series offer low supply current operation of less than 1.7 mA with 1.8 V power supply and less than 2 μA in disabled mode. XOK53 series oscillators are housed in 5- x 3.2-mm micro-miniature packages and offer frequency range from 16 to 50 MHz while XOK91 oscillators are industry-standard 7- x 5-mm devices offering frequency range from 10 to 50 MHz. Both ranges are available with 1.8, 2.5 or 3.3 V inputs and feature tristate function to conserve power.

Ideal for use in battery-operated portable or hand-held consumer electronic devices where small size and low power consumption are essential, the oscillators offer stable and clean CMOS outputs.

Typical specifications include frequency stability of ±25 to ±100 ppm over commercial (0 to 70 °C) and industrial (-40 to +85 °C) operating temperature ranges, ageing of ±5 % per year maximum, period jitter of 2.1 ps with capacitive decoupling between Vdd and Gnd, 15 pF load and voltage sensitivity of ±0.8 ppm for 10 % Vdd variation.

Fully RoHS compliant, the low power oscillators are supplied on standard EIA tape and reel and are capable of withstanding reflow soldering conditions of 260 °C for 10 s maximum.
