DIN rail AC-DC power supplies run to 100W
XP Power has launched three series of DIN rail mount AC-DC power supplies offering a compact, low profile & low-cost DIN rail solution for industrial electronics & controls and building management applications up to 100W.
The DRC30, DRC60 and DRC100 provide power levels of 30W, 60W and 100W in an easy to integrate, lightweight package. A low-profile case allows the DRC series AC-DC power supplies to be positioned alongside circuit breakers within consumer unit boxes. The convection cooled units offer Class II operation, eliminating the need for a safety earth connection, reducing installation time and cost.
Installation is rapid and simple with screw terminals for input and output connections. For installations where there is a long output cable run, a front panel adjuster allows the output voltage to be adjusted (approx. -10%/+15%) to compensate for any voltage drop. A ‘DC ON’ LED indicator gives a clear and immediate visual indication that the unit is operational for user convenience.
The DRC DIN rail power supplies are certified to EN55032 Class B for conducted and radiated emissions so no additional filtering is required for EMC compliance, saving cost, space, and time. All of the units feature input and output protection, thereby reassuring the user that the unit itself and the load it is powering will be fully protected.
The units can be powered from 85 to 264VAC or 120 to 370VDC and operate from -40°C to +70°C with derating at the extremes of the temperature range. They offer typical efficiencies up to 91% along with 4kV of input-output isolation. All series offer DC outputs of 12V, 15V, 24V and 48V with an additional 5V version available in the 30W and 60W series.
The DRC units are available from Digi-Key, Farnell, Mouser, RS Components, approved regional distributors, or direct from XP Power and offer a 3-year warranty.
